Chris came to visit me while I was away on business in Los Angeles. What do two parents of small children do when they can get away on their own? Sadly, we go to the movies (because it really had been awhile). Then we went to Disneyland, but we are keeping that quiet so as not to upset the aforementioned small children. Space Mountain is still awesome, by the way.
Anyway, back to the movie. We decided we were going to see A Good Day to Die Hard, because we both appreciate a good action film and I have loved Bruce Willis ever since I first saw him spin around in that chair on Moonlighting.
I still think that Die Hard was one of the best movies ever made….but a Good Day to Die Hard was so bad, it actually made me sad. So here I present a comparison of one of the best movies ever made and one that was so bad it inspired this blog’s first ever movie review. Not many spoilers because even though I saw it two days ago, it just wasn’t that memorable.
(Total side note but do all theaters in LA allow you to choose an assigned seat? We were both impressed and stressed out by the question.)
